Seniority
Why, why do seniors get treated like gods by freshman and 8th graders? there is a very simple reason: SENIORS GET FIRST AT NEARLY EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In my Marching band we have a drum major who is a senior and that works, but when seniors get first pick at lunchlines, buses and everything else, what is the point of a freshman trying out for anything, but since I am a pathetic loser, I try out and give up my hopes really quickly. For example we have a pt orchestra for the school play, uperclassmen get first pick. upper classmen are usually the people you see in Jazz ensemble one. Why do we need this stupid class distinction? This is like the french revolution, just give us equality.

Wow, this is pretty much the stupidest shit I have ever had the displeasure of reading. Pehaps seniors and upper-classmen are picked first for all higher music courses in your school because they have more musical experience than under-classmen. It seems like the only reason you dislike seniors is because they have more respect than you. I myself am a freshman but happen to realize the distinction is only made by seniors themselves. I also realize how very little this is like the French Revolution. What the fuck are you talking about. Perhaps you should read a little more into the reasons for and circumstances of the French revolution. Wow.
